川崎市中原区在住の女性が、今まで経験したことがない腰痛を発症し当院へ来院した。過去にも強い腰痛を感じたことがあり、整体院などで施術を受けていた経験があるが、近年は仕事で忙しい時に腰が凝る程度の腰痛で収まっていた。

しかし、現在コロナ下の中でテレワークが推奨され、勤務先でも在宅勤務に切り替わった。在宅勤務に切り替わって数ヶ月が経過した時に、立ち上がろうとした瞬間にグキッとなりぎっくり腰を発症。その後2〜3日で痛みは軽減したが完治には及ばず、30分も座っていると左腰に特に激しい痛みを感じるようになり座ってられず、横になりながら仕事をしているという状況であった。職種柄今後も継続的な在宅勤務にシステムが切り替わっていく中で、今後を含め不安が大きく、しっかりと治療をしたいという気持ちから当院へ来院した。

A woman from Nakahara-ku, Kawasaki City, came to our clinic with back pain she had never experienced before. She had experienced severe back pain in the past, and had been treated at an osteopathic clinic, but in recent years, her back pain had been reduced to a stiffness in her lower back when she was busy with her work.

But now, under the corona, telework is recommended in society, and also in her company too. so she switched to telecommuting. A few months after the switch to telecommuting, the moment she tried to stand up, suddenly felt strong low back pain. The pain lessened over the next two to three days, but it did not fully heal. After sitting for 30 minutes, she began to feel particularly severe pain in her left low back and hip, and she could not sit down and worked while lying down. She came to our clinic because she wanted to receive proper treatment.
